Army War College: Trump Again Claims Water Stops Magnets
About this speech
At a defense summit, Trump returned to his critique of aircraft-carrier systems, claiming water prevents magnets from working.
What stands out in this speech
The repeated claim is especially striking in a military-technology setting because ordinary water exposure does not erase a magnet’s magnetic field.
“It makes you want to get sick.”Trump used strong personal language in a technical procurement discussion.
