Cedar Rapids: Electric Boats, Whales and Sharks
About this speech
Trump linked offshore wind, whales, battery-powered boats and sharks in an extended argument against electrification.
What stands out in this speech
The passage is notable for combining several distinct policy topics with a hypothetical shark attack. Its assertion about whales and wind farms requires evidence the speech did not supply.
“whales are washing up on shore”He implied a link between wind farms and whale strandings without presenting evidence.
